how to
plant your seed paper
Our business cards contain non-invasive wildflower seeds! Here are some instructions on how to make these flowers bloom.
Instructions:
Lay the seed paper on damp soil in a sunny spot.
Lightly cover it with soil.
Soak it well, and keep it moist until sprouts appear (4-10 days). Don’t let it dry out!
Watering:
Use a spray bottle for gentle watering during germination—hoses and watering cans can be too harsh for baby roots.
Keep the seed paper moist until the seeds sprout. No drying out allowed!
Once the plants are established, they're drought-tolerant! Let the top 1-2" of soil dry out between waterings.
Tips:
Wait until the soil warms up to at least 55°F / 12°C before planting.
For indoor planting, a sunny south-facing window with 6+ hours of light is perfect!
Don't want to plant them yet? Share them with someone who might, or store in a cool, dry spot until planting. For best results, plant within 2 years as germination rates drop over time.
